African Children Into Education Programme
A unique school build programme for African countries
Piscari EcoBuild will rapidly provide large scale, sustainable education for millions of children across Africa, whilst simultaneously assisting major corporations worldwide to carbon neutralise their emissions and support their corporate social responsibility. It will achieve this by:
- Building new school buildings using a high quality, carbon efficient panel structure method of construction , that qualifies for Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).
- Delivering high quality teacher training, leadership training and curriculum support to ensure sustainability.
Together, these will provide Africa with the construction and management of affordable, sustainable schools that deliver positive life and environment outcomes.
How the ‘ACE’ programme works
An African country agrees the following with Piscari EcoBuild:
- To provide Piscari EcoBuild with school sites.
- To make a pledge to meet the base funding for children to attend the schools in the normal way, such as meeting the cost of teachers, support staff and pupil materials.
Piscari EcoBuild’s commitment
- To sign up corporate sponsors and other parties who will provide the finance required for each construction project. By financing Piscari EcoBuild school projects, major companies can deliver their corporate social responsibilities effectively and offset their carbon emissions.
- Provide host countries with newly built schools that are fully fitted out and ready to use including IT and will include dormitory accommodation where required.
- Hand over all schools to the host country upon completion.
- Build all schools using a high quality, carbon efficient panel structure which enables rapid build times and reduces carbon emissions to the environment.
- Deliver high quality education services to ensure sustainability.
A complete package
Piscari EcoBuild offers host countries and corporate sponsors a 360 degree package. We will gain the backing of corporate sponsors, local, regional and national government for all projects and if appropriate, we will also look to secure additional financial support. This could include the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the Asia Development Bank.
Piscari EcoBuild will manage each project from start to finish and ensure delivery on time and to budget.
